Bottled Bloody Brunch Batch

I was tasked with bringing bloody Marys to the vodka queen’s pre-MLK brunch, and for ease of transportation and to save myself from getting up a half-hour earlier on Sunday morning, I bottled a batch Saturday night before bed.

Pour out one cup from a 64-ounce bottle of V8 and make yourself a drink or 2 using the recipe in the left column of the table below and 2 ounces of vodka per drink.

Add the ingredients in the right column to the bottle and shake vigorously.  Keep refrigerated until service and roll 4 ounces with 2 ounces of vodka and ice and serve with all the usual (or unusual) accoutrements.

4 oz V8 56-60 ounces
1/2 teaspoon horseradish 3 tablespoons
1/8 teaspoon Sriracha 2 teaspoons
2 teaspoons lemon juice 3/4 cup
1 teaspoon lime juice 1/4 cup
1/4 teaspoon capers w/ brine 4 teaspoons
pinch celery salt 2 teaspoons
pinch lemon pepper 2 teaspoons

  1. Vodka Queen? I love it.

I can confirm, this is a fantastic pre-batched mix. I added a little extra brine to mine because I like them really pickle-y, but this is a great way to do bloodys for a party without being stuck behind the bar the whole time. Yum!!!
