Again this holiday season, I got a few days in my father’s carpentry shop designing bar tools with my old man.

We built a few great pieces, but the favorite is definitely this buffalo horn and cherry muddler, comprised of a solid disc of horn slicing through a gorgeous piece of intensely grained hardwood. As simple as it is, it’s probably the most comfortable muddler I have ever held.
