I’ll be heading to Burlington, Vermont in a few weeks. Since I never get to eat breakfast, and when I am back east, I never wake up before noon, because I don’t bother adjusting to Eastern Standard Time, this Green Mountain Breakfast might get me started on the right foot.

Green Mountain Breakfast

  • 1.5 ounces Vermont Gold vodka
  • 1 ounce whole milk or almond milk
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Dry shake all ingredients and then shake with ice.  Double strain into a collins glass, garnish with a strip of thick, crispy bacon and a dusting of cinnamon. Serve with pancakes.

    Maybe a shot of batter blasters on the side – straight into your gob like whipped cream?
